The Marketplace allows merchants to list their products for sale.
Any private customer in Portugal aged 18 or over can purchase products from the Marketplace via the website, app and TOMI.
Customers can pay for their orders directly to the merchants.
This solution will enable orders to be paid for via a direct transfer to the merchants, using one of the following methods:
- MB WAY (telephone number provided by the merchant)
- Direct bank transfer (via IBAN)
- SPIN (new payment tool provided by Banco de Portugal)
When entering payment details during the order checkout process, a reference number is provided which must be included on the proof of payment for the method(s) used, to facilitate verification by the merchant.
It is also possible to purchase products with payment to be made in-store, directly to the merchant(s).
The Seller is responsible for dispatching orders.
The estimated delivery time for a product, by delivery method, is shown on the product page as “Delivery in xx–yy days” and varies depending on the type of product and the seller.
Each Seller chooses the shipping methods they wish to offer, as well as the cost of each and the geographical areas within Portugal to which they ship. The shipping methods, costs and estimated delivery times can be viewed on each product page and at checkout.
